Damping off generally occurs due to the presence of telluric and pathogenic fungi such as rhizoctonia and/or pythim and/or fusarium.

In order to compensate for this damping off, the density is increased.
Indeed, this has a non-negligible economic cost for the market gardener.

Through polarity, CARBO-3 biochar can trap all polar molecules such as spores and toxins.

CARBO-3 biochar is a fertilizer that can increase soil biota and the contribution of water to plants.

Thanks to its numerous pores, CARBO-3 can absorb toxins and spores produced by pathogenic fungi through Van der Waals force.

CARBO-3 prevents damping off, improves soil structure, increases CED and develops microbial activity.

Counting losses on emergence : young salad shoots of the mesclun type The seeding density was the same over the entire surface of the test.

The counts show a higher 24% population density with Biochar CARBO-3 and this difference is clearly significant.

CARBO-3Yield at harvest

The average yield of the trial was 29 tons of fresh product per hectare. In this test, CARBO-3 allowed an increase of 7 tons per hectare or about 28% extra yield. This difference is highly significant.

CONCLUSION

This test carried out in the ground demonstrated the effectiveness of CARBO-3 on young shoots of mesclun lettuce. Indeed, CARBO-3 made it possible to increase yield by 28% by acting as an organic fertilizer and also by acting on the soil fungi responsible for damping off.
